Climbing or prostrate vine to 9m, striate branches. Leaves glabrous or nearly so to 150mm x 110mm. Terminal umbels or corymbs with bracts & bractlets to 1.5mm long of 10-20 flowers 30mm wide, bright yellow corolla with red lines at base of petal, fimbriate petals, larger petals to 12mm long with claw 4mm long. Puberulent to glabrate samaras with wing to 50mm x 12mm.
