Twiner with glabrescent stems, mucronulate pilose leaves to 80mm x 70mm. Axillary cymes with minute bracts, tomentose sepals to 11mm long, violet corolla with a tube to 60mm long, limb pilose outside, capsule enclosed in sepals 15mm dia.
