Erect or scrambling perennial herb to 2.5m, pubescent stems, upper stems somewhat squared & winged. Crenulo-dentate puberulent leaves to 60mm x 40mm. Axillary flowers, puberulous sepals to 8mm long, white to blue corollas to 15mm long with lobes to 4mm . 3-4 valved capsule to 7mm high.
