Evergreen large woody dioecious twiner, palmate coriaceous leaves with 3-9 glabrous leaflets. Drooping axillary racemes of fragrant 20mm greenish white, male & purple fragrant female flowers, petals to 15mm long. Fleshy berry to 100mm long, red to purple, sausage-shaped.
