Scandent shrub or liana to 26m long, glabrous branches, hairy branchlets. Leaves to 140mm x 80mm glabrous above tomentose beneath. Tomentose axillary & terminal sulphur-yellow panicles to 300mm long with 6 bracts to 80mm long, 5-lobed calyx pubescent outside hairy within 4mm long, lobes 1.5mm long, 5-lobed corolla with puberulent lobes. Glabrou greenish fruit to 4mm long.
