Tomentose scandent shrub to15m with tetragonal white or rusty tomentose branchlets. Mucronulate leaves hispid above tomentose beneath to 200mm x 115mm. White or rusty-tomentose axillary & terminal panicles to 300mm x 300mm with 7 white or ferrugineous tomentose bracts to 40mm x 15mm, 7 flowers per head, tomentose scented white or yellowish flowers, 2-lipped tomentose calyx to 8mm long, lower lip 3-lobed, whitish-yellow tomentose corolla to 14mm long with up to 7 twisted lobes to 8mm x 1mm, tube 10mm long. Fruit a drupe to 4mm.
