Robust large woody liana or tree with grey-downy glabrescent branches, terminal or axillary densely pubescent panicles to 450mm long of 18mm long cream, white or pinkish-white, purple or bright red flower , calyx to 8mm long silky both surfaces, 8mm standard, fruit a brown-velvety pod to 150mm x 40mm, compound leaves, pubescent branches, trifoliolate leaves glabrescent above silky-pubescent beneath
