Scandent liana or shrub to 3m. Branches with exfoliating bark. Coriaceous leaves to 140mm x 80mm. Terminal lax racemes of 9-11 flowers, flowers with 3-parted bracts to 8mm x 3mm, green becoming yellow then brownish, & bractlets, & a fleshy wing. Sepals 4mm x 5mm.
