Herbaceous annual simple-tendril tuberous-rooted vine or creeper with nearly glabrous mucronate leaves, upper leaves 3-lobed 90mm long, dioecious inflorescence, cream or yellow male axillary flowers in corymbs or umbels, glabrous calyx to 5mm long, 4mm across with lobes to 0.4mm long, corolla with 5 lobes, females solitary axillary, 10mm yellow to white flowers, 60 mm x 50mm red-brown oval fruits often yellow-spotted or striped, sagittate leaves glaucescent beneath, leaves variously shaped
