Liana, subshrub or shrub with pale purple to white flowers in panicled racemes, thorny stems & leaf backs. Scandent shrub with hairy prickly branches. Imparipinnate leaves to 82mm long with 3-5 prickly leaflets to 80mm long. Lateral or internodal few-flowered cymes or panicles, glabrous calyx 2.5mm long with fleshy lobes to 1.2mm long. White corolla 12mm wide with lobes 4.5mm long, Mottled green berry 28mm diameter.
