Strongly foul odoured shrub, sub-shrub or climbing herbaceous liana to 3m, hairy woody stems. Imparipinnate leaves to 320mm long, 4-7 paired leaves hairy above whitish-tomentose beneath, leaflets to 120mm x 50mm. Cymes, racemes or lateral hairy corymbs to 300mm across, of 32mm yellow pubescent flowers, calyx to 7mm long, corolla to 35mm diameter, lobes to 20mm. Glabrous fruit maturing greenish-yellow to 60mm diameter.
