High-climbing vine with adventitious roots, scandent shrub, subshrub or herb with glabrous wiry slender branches. Coriaceous glabrous or densely hairy imparipinnate leaves to 50mm x 25mm, terminal leaflet to 35mm x 15mm, lateral leaflets to 20mm x 14mm. Terminal, subterminal or axillary inflorescences of 5-6 white or occasionally purple-tinged flowers, calyx lobes to 4mm x 1mm, corolla 19mm diameter x 10mm, lobes 8mm x 3mm. Orange to red fruit. Shrub climbing by adventitious roots, stems glabrescent, coriaceous leaves to 30mm x 18mm, leaves with hairs on veins. 3-4 flowered inflorescence, calyx to 5mm diameter with 4 lobes, lobes 3mm x 1mm, glabrous outside, corolla 15mm diameter with 4 lobes. High-climbing shrub to 10m with adventitious roots, hairy leaves to 40mm x 25mm. Calyx to 2.5mm, corolla 13mm diameter with 4 lobes
