Fruiting Times
Armed liane, tree or shrub with hairy stems, prickly & rusty-tomentose branches, leaves to 110mm x 48mm, with stellate hairs & prickly with recurved thorns to 1.5mm long, mid-rib of leaves & calyx prickly. Extra-axillary rusty-tomentose 25-40 flowered racemes to 70mm diameter of 50mm diameter white flowers within, violet outside, calyx to 5.5mm x 7mm, corolla 20mm diameter, corolla tube 1mm long. Fruit to 25mm x 35mm, red or orange
