Fruiting Times
Erect or scandent shrub to 3m with scabrous stems with thorns to 13mm x 1mm. Tomentose or glabrous leaves 135mm x 22mm, prickly on middle nerve beneath. Corymbs or racemes of abut 15 flowers, blue or lilac flowers, calyx to 1.5mm long, vbiolet or rarely white corolla to 10mm long. Dark purple berry 5mm diameter.
