Glabrous scandent scrambling succulent or prostrate herb to 10m with striate branches, glabrous stems often variegated pale yellow-green & purple. Pinnatipartite mostly glabrous lobed leaves 220mm x 140mm with sinuate dentate margins. Terminal & subterminal thyrses or cymes with bracts, honey-scented yellow flowers, flowerheads with bracts to 2mm long, no ray florests, golden yellow disc florets with corolla to 9.5mm long & lobes to 2mm long. Achenes to 3.5mm long with pappus to 8mm long.
