Large woody climber with long tendrils & minute prickles on stem. Coriaceous mucronate leaves to 150mm x 80mm. Many-flowered unbels with minute bracts, umbels with 20-40 male light green flowers to 15mm long, 18-22 female flowers on separate umbels, female tepals to 6mm x 2mm. Fleshy berry maturing red, to 30mm diameter.
