Armed or unarmed glabrous liana or scandent shrub with tendrils and 4-angled stems, leaves to 90mm x 60mm. Male flowers in terminal umbels with bracts, male tepals 7mm long, female flowers in axillary umbels with bracts, tepals 2.5mm long, 3mm long white flowers. 8mm diameter black berries
