Armed twining high-climbing subshrub or vine with thorny winged stems, aerial roots & recurved spines. Leaves to 210mm x 135mm with tendrils. Umbels with bracteoles 1mm long, male umbels to 15 flowers, females to 40 flowers. Geenish flowers, male sepals 5.5mm long, females 3mm long
