Tall herbaceous tomentose bifid-tendril vine with hairy stems, mucronate leaves to 170mm x 120mm villous both surfaces, male racemes or corymbs to 40mm with 12-15 flowers, calyx tomentose with tube 4mm x 7mm, lobes 3mm x 3mm, corolla with 5 tomentose lobes 15mm long, pale yello, petals 13mm x 6.5mm, 40mm diameter flowers, female flowers soliatry or paired, smaller than male flowers & glabrescent fruit to 60mm diameter
