Climbing or prostrate sub-shrub with glabrous stems. Glabrous denticulate coriaceous leaves to 90mm x 28mm, pubescent on nerve beneath. Axillary flowers yellow at base, orange-red at top with floral leaves to 30mm long, 5-parted calyx with glabrous sepals 5mm long, glabrous greenish-yellow corolla to 30mm long with tube 20mm x 4mm & corolla lobes to 12mm long. Capsule 7mm long with 2 valves.
