Hemiepiphytic vine or herb with grey tomentose stems. Denticulate leaves to 160mm x 35mm, rugose above & pubescent beneath. Solitary axillary wine-red flowers to 70mm long, triangular puberulent sepals to 5mm long, red puberulent corolla to 45mm long with lobes to 18mm long
