Slender or arching, sometimes clambering shrub or small tree to 10m. Bicoloured leaves to 150mm x 120mm, white-tomentose beneath. Corymbose panicles, flower heads 8mm high with 15-20 bracts, no ray florets, 6-12 disc florets with glabrous creamy-0white or pale yellow corollas to 12mm long, corolla tube 4mm long & lobes 2mm long. Pubescent achenes to 4mm long, yellowish-white or tawny pappus bristles to 9mm long
