Tree or clambering hemi-epiphytic shrub, sometimes scandent to 4.5m, with glabrous branches. Denticulate leaves glabrous above white tomentose beneath 150mm x 100mm. Terminal cymose panicles with bracts, flower heads to 15mm high with bracts, 5-8 ray florets, 10-15 disc florets, yellow disc florets to 8mm long, corolla tube 5mm long x 1.5mm. 10-ribbed glabrous achenes to 2mm long with tawny white pappus to 9mm long.
