Epiphytic liana to 40m, quadrangular stems. Bicoloured leaves to 160mm x 120mm, glabrescent above & white hirsute beneath with serrulate margins. Corymbose panicles to 350mm wide, flower heads 7mm high with bracts. 4-5 yellow ray florets with tube to 5mm long & limb to 9mm x 2mm, 5-25 yellow disc flowers with yellow corolla to 10mm long & lobes to 3mm x 0.6mm. Achenes to 2mm long with tawny pappus bristles to 8mm long.
