Hemi-epiphytic clambering shrub. Leaves glabrous above, brown-villous beneath to 250mm x 180mm. Terminal cymose panicles with puberulent bracts, flower heads to 7mm with bracts, no ray florets, 15-25 disc florest, yellow corolla 7mm long, tube2.5mm long with lobes 2mm long. Hirsute 10-ribbed achenes to 2.5mm long with tawny pappus bristles to 6mm long.
