Herbaceous hairy annual twining climber to 7m. Trifoliolate leaves glabrous or puberulent both sides, terminal leaflets to 70mm x 50mm. Axillary pseudo-racemes to 300mm long, purple-violet flowers, calyx 6mm long, standard 20mm x 17mm, wings to 25mm x 8mm, keel same as standard. Puberulent legume 140mm long x 5mm.
