Vine or scandent herb with 1-3-branched tendrils to 120mm long. 5-lobed pilose leaves to 100mm x 90mm. 20-flowered corymbs to 70mm long, white flowers to 20mm long, male flowers 5-lobed with calyx to 5mm diameter & lobes to 3mm, pale yellow 5-parted corolla with pilose segments to 3.5mm wide. Female inflorescence with up to 22 flowers, 5-toothed calyx 3mm diameter with lobes 2mm long , minute 5-parted corolla. Samara-like prickly brown fruit, irregularly lobed, to 20mm long.
