Annual tendril vine or slender pubescent liana, sometimes prostrate, with heart-shaped leaves to 100mm x 80mm, simple or bifid tendrils. Panicles of pale greenish-yellow to white flowers to 1.5mm long, villous corolla & sepals, staminate panicle to 300mm long, corolla lobes to 1.5mm long. Male flowers with green sepals & yellow petals. Fruit a black drupe to 11mm diameter
