Scandent shub with bifid tendrils, 5-6 angled & grooved yellowish hirsute stems. Pinnate leaves with 3-5 hirsute crenate-dentate leaflets to 150mm x 90mm. Terminal or axillary yellowish-hirsute thyrses to 150mm long with bracts to 6.5mm, of white flowers, tomentulose sepals 4.5mm long, white petals to 4mm.. Pilose fruit to 40mm x 25, red samaras.
