Glabrous or nearly so woody liana with 6-furrowed branches. Biternate glabrous leaves, paler beneath with 9 mucronulate leaflets to 100mm x 45mm. Axillary tomentulose thyrses or panicles to 300mm long with bracts to 1.5mm. Strongly scented cream-green flowers, tomentulose sepals to 3mm, white petals to 3.3mm long. Pubescent samaras, pink wings to 24mm x 19mm.
