Tendril liana with 5-6 angled hirsute branches. Biternate leaves with 9 crenate-dentate serrate pubescent leaflets to 75mm x 55mm. 3mm long pale green to white flowers in terminal or axillary puberulent raceform panicles to 190mm long with bracts to 1.2mm, puberulent sepals to 2mm, white or reenish-white petals to 2.5mm. 22mm long red fruit a 3-winged capsule to 20mm x 17mm, whole plant clothed with velvety tomentum.
