Liana or scandent shrub with tendrils to 4m high with glabrate triangular older branches, pubescent younger branches. Biternate leaves, serrated leaflets, terminal crenate, serrate or dentate leaflets to 150mm x 80mm, glabrous above & pubescent beneath. Panicles or thyrses to 16 flowers, 5mm long fragrant white flowers, sepals to 4mm long, white petals to 5mm x 2mm. 40mm winged pilose or glabrate fruit to 40mm x 30mm.
