Sometimes climbing spiny shrub or tree. Striate glabrate stems with spines. Bi-pinnate foliage of 2-15 pairs of leaflets with 16-50 pairs of pinna to 6mm x 1mm glabrous above, puberulous beneath. Panicles, puberulent calyx 1mm long, puberulous corolla 2.5mm long. Pods to 120mm x 25mm
