Vigorous high-climbing glabrous liana with recurved thorns, angled on stems. Pinnate leaves with 3-4 pairs of leaflets to 100mm x 50mm, glabrous above & tomentose beneath. Lax panicles of white flower spikes to 30mm long, small flowers with 5-toothed calyx. Tomentellous legume to 350mm x 45mm.
