Climber with thorny glabrous stems. Pinnate foliage with 3-5 pairs of glabrous leaflets to 15mm x 6mm. Flower spikes to 200mm long, creamy-yellow flowers to 5mm long with 5-dentate calyx, puberulous corolla.
