High-climbing woody twining liana or evergreen scandent shrub to 15m, glabrate branches, tendrils. Pubescent stems & leaves, leaves densely strigulose on both surfaces glabrous or puberulent above, minutely strigulose beneath to 120m x 57mm. Terminal & axillary racemes to 140mm long with bracts to 7mm long, fragrant rose or purple flower to 11.8mm long with darker purple or yellow keel, sepals pubescent on mid line to 3.85mm long, wings 11.8mm x 8mm, keel 8.8mm, petals to 11mm long. Green samaras to 60mm long, densely hairy, wedge-shaped, wings 130mm x 35mm, fruit to 8mm long.
