Liana or twining shrub with terminal racemes to 40mm long with bracts to 1.8mm long, of magenta flowers with pilose sepals to 3.5mm long, wings 8.2mm x 6mm, keel 10.5mm long, fruits yellow with purple-brown to 12mm long, pilose winged fruit to 70mm long, pubescent branchlets, leaves puberulous above pubescent beneath to 75mm x 40mm
