Climber or trailer with glabrous stems, 3-5 parted glabrous tendrils. Coriaceous leaves to 190mm x 12mm, densely white spotted above & almost glabrous, and 3-5 lobed at base, lobes to 80mm x 30mm. Inflorescence of 14-18 flowers, staminate inflorescence to 250mm long, male flowers to 5mm, white or pale yellow with green veins, hairy outside, pilose calyx 5mm diameter with lobes to 7mm long, pilose pale yellow or green corolla 10mm diameter with lobes 4mm x 3.5mm. Fruit to 60mm x 40mm, spiny at base, green maturing red with white spots.
