Fruiting Times
Spiny evergreen woody scandent or erect shrub, liana or tree to 10m, young stems four-angled with paired hooked thorns, recurved prickles. Simple alternate glabrous leaves bristle tipped or toothleted towards apex. Axillary fascicles, umbels or cymes of yellow-green or white flowers, petals to 1mm. Globose red to brown drupe maturing black to 5mm diameter.
