High-climbing tendril liana, young twigs & inflorescence tomentose. Coriaceous leaves to 80mm x 80mm, glabrous above, tomentose beneath. Inflorescence with whitish bracts & bractlets to 8mm long. Pink flowers, long clawed glabrous petals to 20mm long.
