Epiphytic woody vine, shrub or liana with glabrate stems & pubescent branches. Coriaceous leaves to 200mm x 110mm becoming glabrate. Axillary racemes to 110mm x 20mm with numerous bracts to 5mm x 1.5mm. White flowers with lilac edges, purple-blue inside, greenish-white calyx 5mm x 5mm with 3-4 lobes. Greenish-white corolla 10mm long, deeply lilac in throat with 5 lobes. Black fruit to 12mm diameter, fruiting calyx to 5mm x 10mm.
