Tall stout looping liana to 30m, or scandent shrub with glabrous branches. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 200mm x 90mm. Axillary, lateral or terminal glabrescent male panicles to 400mm long, 0.6mm calyx, 5 white or yellow petals to 3mm long, female panicles glabrate, calyx 0.8mm. Dark green to blackish-brown glabrescent drupe to 35mm x 20mm.
