Large hairy twining herbaceous or slightly woody vine or liana to 4m with hirsute branches. Sparsely hirsute leaves or pilose above, hairy beneath 140mm x 60mm. Few to densely flowered axillary fascicles with bracts, of white flowers, hirsute calyx tube with yellowish hair, with 5 lobes 4mm x 1.2mm, white hirsute or sparsely strigose corolla to 7mm long, tube hairy on outside to 6mm x 1mm, lobes to 2mm long. Strigose red to purple juicy fruit 10mm diameter.
