Climber or trailer to 7m. Leaves covered with pale brown hairs. Axillary inflorescence with pale green bracts, white flower, yellowish-green calyx lobes reddish at base & inside, creamy white corolla. White fruit with persistent pink calyx lobes or grey fruit with purple stripes
