Large very hairy liana or shrub with glabrescent branches, papery leaves 125mm x 55mm glabrate above hispid on nerves beneath. Drooping terminal fascicles or panicles with bracteoles, of fragrant white flowers 8mm long, calyx 2mm long with glabrous tube, corolla tube glabrous with lobes to 2mm hairy outside. Yellow-red glabrous fruit to 9mm diameter.
