Woody twining liana or shrub with rusty-red tomentose stems, leaves 135mm x 75mm glabrescent above pubescent beneath, terminla panicles qith bracteoles, hairy yellow or white flowers with 4.75mm long tubes, lobes to 2.75mm in terminal & axillary panicles, calyx 3mm long pubescent outside, whitish corolla hirsute outside with lobes 2mm long, fruit to 7mm diameter, orange to red, pubescent on veins of leaves, unpleasant smell
