Liana or thorny shrub with prickly branches. Serrulate leaflets to 60mm x 35mm, glabrate above & villous beneath. Axillary & terminal racemes of 3-6 flowers, 40mm long, pink flowers 15mm wide, pilose sepals. Green-reddish sparsely pilose fruit maturing black.
