Scandent or trailing dioecious subshrub, glabrescent stems to 2m with recurved spines, 3-5 foliolate coriaceous glabrescent leaves, terminal leaflet to 50mm x 30mm. Axillary racemes to 75mm long with bracts to 6mm x 2mm, flowers with tomentose sepals to 7mm x 6mm, pubescent pale green to white petals to 7mm x 7mm, tomentose brown fruit to 7mm x 4.5mm
