Fruiting Times
Large, decumbent, sometimes scandent shrub with hairy to glabrescent prickly stems with recurved thorns, upper surface of leaf sparsely hispid or glabrous, lower with tomentum, simple 3-8-lobed serrate margined leaves to 200mm x 150mm, branchlets & petiole densely tomentose mixed with prickles. Terminal & axillary yellowish-silky panicles or racemes to 500mm long with bracts to 17mm x 9mm, white or pink flowers 18mm across, tomentose calyx with red hairs, tomentose sepals to 9mm x 6mm, glabrous white petals to 7mm x 6mm, glabrous carpels, maturing red, 30mm red or purple-black drupe to 10mm dia., with persistent sepals
