Erect shrublets sometimes climbing or scrambling with hairy to glabrous stems to 1.5m with reddish to purple prickles to 15mm long, imparipinnate leaves to 130mm long with 3-9 pairs leaflets, glabrous or hairy leaflets to 50mm x 20mm. Terminla cymes to 50mm long with bracts, triangular sepals to 9mm x 3mm, white petals to 10mm x 7mm, dark red fruit to 10mm with persistent sepals
